Yay!!! I’m so happy that you secured a lease. Maybe one of my visits we can grab coffee. I’m a Capricorn and it feels like we came out the womb planning and perfecting lol. So I get it. I started swim lessons and it helps me be more present because that’s the only thing that matters in that moment and that’s how every moment should me

Thank you so much! Would love to grab a coffee with you. Capricorn energy is so strong sometimes, but balance is important. I'm thinking about taking up a sport myself and taking bike lessons.

Congratulations on making it to the other side of survival mode! That is such a huge thing to celebrate. And because life has to constantly throw obstacles at us, you have to find a way to actually enjoy this season. I’m glad that you’re figuring it out and thank you for the reminders to take things day by day and to ‘just be here’. I needed them.

We don't talk about this enough and it is a funky transition. I was a single mom for 23 years, I had to earn my family out of generational poverty by myself, and now I'm a disabled empty nester financially supported by my partner. I have no kid stress, little money stress, and no work stress. It took a long time for me to fully relax and not be anxiously waiting for something to go wildly wrong. It also took time to not feel guilty about having so little stress now when so many people are very stressed out.

The transition is so hard. I relate so much to your statement “It took a long time for me to fully relax and not be anxiously waiting for something to go wildly wrong.” Living life without anticipation of the other shoe dropping is foreign when you’re used to struggling. Flight or fight mode is something you have to consciously work to get out of. So happy you were able to find your way out of it as well.
